3:00 PM: Matchmaking

Running Time: 98 minutes
Language: Hebrew w/subtitles
Year: 2022
Director: Erez Tadmor

In this comedic Israeli drama, yeshiva bocher Moti Bernstein, the ideal match for any girl in his Orthodox Jewish community, falls for a lovely, intelligent Sephardic girl. The problem is that his very traditional parents are hoping for an “Ashkenazic princess”. To thwart the matchmaker’s attempts, Moti comes up with a scheme that he hopes will make the bride of his dreams a reality.

7:00 PM: Everything Went Fine

Running Time: 113 minutes
Language: French, German w/subtitles
Year: 2021
Director: François Ozon

A thought provoking, often lighthearted French drama which deals with a complex father-daughter relationship and end-of-life issues. Andre has suffered a stroke leaving him semi-paralyzed with a diminished quality of life. He pleads with his oldest daughter to grant him a last wish to help end his life with dignity in Switzerland where assisted suicide is legal. Outstanding acting throughout.

Preceded by the short film The Rock Collection.

2022 - 3 minutes - English - Mayer Adelberg
The Rock Collection is a girl’s yearly short journey on her never-ending path to closure.
