A. J. Croce
Croce Plays Croce

Croce Plays Croce is a special night of music featuring songwriter A. J. Croce performing a complete set of classics by his father, the late Jim Croce, some of his own tunes, and songs that influenced both of them. The evening features such timeless songs as “Operator,” “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim,” “Time in a Bottle,” “Rapid Roy (the Stock Car Boy),” and more. Classic covers might include songs by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Bessie Smith, and other folk and roots artists.

Folk singer Jim Croce’s decades of posthumous fame affirm him as one of the greatest songwriters and artists. Croce’s short career and long-lived legacy are well-remembered through his era-defining standards, including “Operator,” “Time in a Bottle,” and “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.”

Over a 30-year touring and recording career, A. J. Croce has produced 10 studio albums for major and independent labels and has released 20 Top 20 singles. A virtuoso piano player, Croce has performed on major television networks and toured with such esteemed artists as Willie Nelson, Lenny Kravitz, and B. B. King. His latest album, By Request, features 12 personally curated covers that traverse decades and genres and are propelled by his spirited piano mastery and emotive vocals.
