Apache Palms RV Park

1836 E. Apache Blvd.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Valley of the Sun, Apache Palms RV Park will become your family’s destination when visiting the Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale area. Metro Light Rail, the area’s latest public transportation option, offers easy access to the many cultural, sports, and dining venues along the 22-mile route. With a Metro station just steps from our entrance, simply park your RV and ride to your favorite sites. What could be more fun and green!

Practicing environmental responsibility is important to our RV guests and we are fortunate to be located in one of the most green-conscious cities in the U.S., Tempe, AZ. Besides the Light Rail, other transit options are the city bus and local commuters. With the help of the City of Tempe, we have also made it especially easy to recycle while staying at Apache Palms RV Park. Water conservation is always a concern in the desert and is evident in our desert landscaping.

Apache Palms RV Park provides the facilities and amenities today’s RVers expect. We feature a sparkling heated pool and spa, full hookups, free WiFi & Cable TV, and more. Pull-thru sites are big-rig friendly and our Elite Sites include picnic tables and grills.

Soaring palm trees and a stately Saguaro Cactus named “Josephine” are welcome features of our desert landscaping. An assortment of citrus trees provide an abundance of delicious fresh fruit which our winter guests enjoy. Summer guests will see “Josephine” adorned in her white waxy flowers, Arizona’s state flower, while winter visitors see her decked out in holiday lights.

Personal service is our goal and our friendly, informed staff will help you make the most of your stay so you will want to return again and again. Bikeway maps, local golf course listings, Cactus League schedules, restaurant menus, and more are available. The laundry room has a large display of brochures for local attractions. There is no end to the activities you can enjoy while staying at Apache Palms RV Park, but if you simply want to curl up with a good book from our Book Exchange and sit by the pool - it’s up to you!

Location is really good!right in the middle of the city. All the facilities work fine. Pet friendly place. I have been reading a lot of negative reviews about the manager Angie and wanna say she is really nice lady. I think what kind of attitude u give her that's what u get back:) she went above and beyond to find us a site for 2 weeks without even changing the spot. They offer good Sam and military discount.price per day includes all the bills which is pretty good deal. Place gets filled up pretty fast if it's the college graduation season:)

Friendly staff, very clean park, good rates. Bath house, laundry, library, nice pool and hot tub. Could benefit from a few more shade trees, but this is the desert. Swim after sunset, or before sunrise. Safe location in between Tempe police station, Fire department, and ASU campus. Lots of local eateries and amenities within a four mile radius. Very hard water, make sure you both screen and filter all city water. To keep your water lines clear. Water will leave a haze on vehicles as well. Summer brings high heat (I saw a high of 111 to 121 degrees, lows in the 80s and 90s) but Summer also brings rain occasionally. In one rainstorm I counted 14 raindrops on a square foot tile ... however another rain was a monsoon. Head North to Flagstaff, you might even see snow. Go see the National Parks.

Extremely rude office staff!! Spoke to a woman name Diane and she hung up on me when I was trying to get information about the rv park. I went about 6 months prior to try and get information and she wouldn't give me the time of day because at that time they had no vacancy. How rude! Two horrible experiences with this place. I though I had just caught them on a bad day the first time. Gave them a second chance and soon realized they just have the WORST customer service skills. I can only imagine how they treat the people that actually live there.

I stopped in with my 4 year old daughter to ask about availability. We waited for a few minutes while she was rude to whomever was on the phone. I was treated rudely as well by the woman at the desk. I understand that you don't have availability but how you talked to me in front of my daughter was completely disrespectful. You do not need to take out your anger on other people. If you can't have a decent conversation then you should not be doing that job. Do not stay here unless you want someone treating you unkindly.

Good sites, concrete pad and swimming pool. I would stay here again. Some of the residents had been there for a year. Park was clean and tidy.
