Mission Statement:

The Arizona Artists Guild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization led by volunteers dedicated to providing and promoting opportunities in visual arts including exhibitions, educational and outreach programs. The Guild is the oldest art association in the state founded in 1928 in Phoenix, we are celebrating 80 years in the arts and still growing.

The organization is committed to the following:

Exhibitions

- Promoting quality artwork for public viewing and appreciation
- Encouraging members to participate in stated and national exhibits
- Offering support for members to further their careers
- Providing opportunities for members to display and sell their work

Educational Programs

- Awarding over $4,000 in scholarships to Arizona students
- Sponsoring classes through the Guild School of Art
- Providing after school art enrichment experiences
- Teaching classes to people with disabilities
- Offering critique sessions to improve skills

Outreach

- Supplying judges for local, state and national art exhibits
- Providing a voice for civic matters to the Phoenix Art Council
- Continuing a long-standing tradition of art leadership in Arizona
- Maintaining a cadre of instructors for schools and community
