Desert River Outfitters takes pride in offering the most comprehensive selection of kayaks and canoes for purchase on the lower Colorado River. We have a policy of try before you buy so feel free to take us up on this policy. We also have a good selection of accessories to get you on the river. Although we don't have a big or fancy store, we do believe in offering reasonable prices on quality paddling gear.
In our line of boats, we offer several brands from Johnson Outdoors but we specialize in the Ocean Kayak sit-on-top. We are the only stocking dealer for O.K. in Arizona and try to have at least one of each model available to demo or purchase. We have found over time that O.K. provides an excellent way to enter the world of paddling and they have something to offer everyone. We have introduced people to the sport that would not think about it by showing them how user friendly and fun Ocean Kayak boats are. Old Town is another brand of boat we carry. While we don't stock a lot of their boats we can offer advice and help recommend a boat in their line that will fit your needs.
