Share in the music, dance and food of the Zuni people in this two-day festival. The festival opens with a ceremonial welcome and flagraising at 9 am. Zuni Olla Maidens and Cellicion dancers will perform and share their traditions with visitors throughout the day. Learn to create a traditional waffle garden, visit the Easton Collection Center, and taste ancestral foods in this immersive, indoor/outdoor festival. Meet hundreds of carvers, weavers, potters, painters, jewelers and other artists, some carrying on traditions thousands of years old, others interpreting their cultures in distinct new ways. With puppet shows for kids, engaging performances and insightful presentations, this is a wonderful weekend for the entire family.
